Overview
Anti-Müllerian hormone is produced by cells around small ovarian follicles. In fertility care, it is often reviewed to estimate how the ovaries may respond to stimulation, but it does not directly measure egg quality or guarantee pregnancy outcomes.
AMH is a blood marker commonly used when discussing ovarian reserve and expected ovarian response. It should be interpreted together with age, ultrasound findings and medical history.- Category
